How to delete your account and what happens to your data
Your account is deleted immediately, you are signed out of all devices, and you will not be able to log in again with this account.
Your email address, phone number, bio, Google account link, push notification token, and profile photo are permanently and irreversibly removed and replaced with anonymized values. Your password is replaced with a random value, so no one — including Recovery — can use it to access your account again.
Your name, and your appointment, prescription, order, and payment/transaction history, are retained indefinitely. This is necessary to preserve medical and financial records for legal and regulatory compliance in Pakistan (including tax recordkeeping and medical records retention guidance). This retained data is not linked to your deleted account's contact details and cannot be used to log in or identify you going forward.
If you're unable to access the app, email support@therecovery.io with your registered email address to request deletion.
